God says in the Holy Quran what means "Allah is-the Protecting Friend of those who believe. He bringeth them out of darkness into light. As for those who disbelieve, their patrons are false deities. They bring them out of light into darkness. Such are rightful owners of the Fire. They will abide therein. ( Al-Baqra :257)
Once I was asked Why Islam should always be the only right doctrine and not the other ones?
My answer man has no other choice wherher to believe or not because choosing to believe is one of the most important thing in human life ,so the question should be like this :
Which is right ? to choose Christianity or to choose Islam ?
To answer the questions we should think a little about which one is good , which one is reliable.
The Holy Book , though revealed by God , but owing to human tampering has many holes .
The Holy Book had been written in a period over one thousand years and by tens of authors who are not of the same efficiency (Encyclopedia Britannica , Bible ) , moreover there are many differences between the texts of the different denominations and cults . The Catholic version of the Bible are five chapters more than the version of the protestants .
Which is correct ?Is it the catholic version or the protestant version or the syriac version ?
Even the successively printed versions of the same cult undergoes the same differences , complete chapters can be inserted in one version and then deleted in the second version and vice verse . Moreover , what about the newly discovered codices such as the dead sea Scroll and Nag Hamadi library that are different from all of these present versions? A new science called the science of Holy Textx Criticism was invented in an attempt of finding a text that is relatively like a certain lost text .
(A) The Holy Book:-
Also , the Holy Book is not the same as that was available a few years ago . Many synods have been held since the 4thcentury(A.D) to decide which bibles are sacred and worth being worshipped by and which are not ..Among these synods is the synod of carthage (398 A.D) in which most of the books in use now were agreed upon , many of the books that had remained for a long times in use were abrogated by these synods , also there a lot of controversial books, such as The Epistle of Shepherd Hermes and The Epistle of Barnaby, which were considered sacred for a certain times and unsacred for other some times . Many bibles that were unknown before are found from time to time and we still , up till now , find more . The same periodical we already referred to says " "we cannot know how many books were lost as the bible took shape , but we do know that some were hidden away . ( The previous source )
(B) The Apocrypha :-
As to the question of the Apocrypha with Christianity scientists , the Holy Quran has referred to this question and even condemned it . God says in the Holy Quran what means " .O people of the Scripture! Now hath Our messenger come unto you, expounding unto you much of that which ye used to hide in the Scripture, and forgiving much. Now hath come unto you light from Allah and a plain Scripture ." Al-ma'da :15)
So he told Mohummed about that ?!!!!
Before I finish my comment on the Holy Book , I 'd like to say that the authenticity and the credence of the Holy Book is so shaky and weak .In 2005 , the Catholic Church issued a report in which they say that the words in the Holy Books are not reliable when thinking about the truth . These words are nearly the same words of Pope Benedict in his book "The Nazarene Jesus " in which he asked his followers not to deal with the Holy Book as a revealed book from God but rather a derived book from God . These words were mentioned in the Newsweek , number (562007) ,where also Thomas Jefferson says that Jesus true words can be seen as pearls in a pile of rubbish!!!
Evidence to the invalidity of the doctrine of the Christians :
(g) : The multiple doctrines of the Christians :
Which doctrine is right ? Is it the present doctrine of Trinity ? The present doctrine was not there before the synod of Niece (325 ) in which Constantine practiced clampdown over the participants to impose the doctrine of Trinity though the overwhelming opinion in that synod was against it , crackdown was imposed to ban the books and the meetings of the theists .(national geographic .may 2006)( The previous Reference under a marginal title "the Forgotten Christianities) , Pat Erman is of the same opinion in his book " Lost Christianities " in which he says the church in the first century(A.D) was a chaos of beliefs ; some worshipped one God , some worshipped two gods and even some worshipped twelve gods .( The previous source)
The Savior is not just one
The Christians believe in the concept of Jesus the Savior ( the doctrine of the god , the son of the virgin ,who sacrificed himself for the remittance of the sins of people and his rise from his grave ) . This doctrine is also found in another sixteen doctrines other than the christianity ; the concept of savor is also there with the adherents of Krishna , Buda and Horus . Why then is Jesus only the Savior ?!!! Tom Herbert , an American theologian , make the same query in his book " The Pagan Christ".
The question is why did he Christian invent this illogic doctrine ? The answer is that they did not invent it but rather they were just rubber-mats. The Holy Quran revealed this fact in the following verse " They imitate the saying of those who disbelieved of old. " ( AL-Tawba :30)
But why do the Christians toil themselves to understand this illogic doctrine ?!!!
Saint Augustine says " I believe in Christianity because it is an illogic religion !!!
Kirk Guard , the founder of the new Christianity in the beginning of the 20th century comments on the belief in Christianity saying it is nothing but absurd belief " ( The History of the Church , volume 5 , the priest John Lormier )
Also , Deidre , notable scholar in the Renaissance age , says the worst and the most absurd about Christianity lie in its doctrines " ( The previous source )
Jesus seminar cult are skeptic about their books and deny the sacredness of their books .
Birmingham university issue a book called " the myth of god incarnate "
Francis young says the new Greek Christians stand accused of changing the Jewish Jesus from Palestine into an incarnated entity .
The Holy Quran debunked the hoax of the deity of Jesus , the Holy Quran says " They surely disbelieve who say : Lo! Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary. The Messiah (himself) said : O Children of Israel, worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord." The same thing is stressed in John( 12:17) where Jesus says " I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God."
(D) The Crucifixion
Did the Christians know that the doctrine of the Cross had not been known at all in the early centuries of Christianity ? Did they know that many ancient cults such as Carpocrates, Marsyonien and many others believed that Jesus had not been crucified and it was Simon a Cyrenian, the person who was crucified instead and Jesus stood laughing at the stupidity of the Jews ? Also among the many books that were against the doctrine of crucifixion is the book of Sheeth and the Bible of Judah ,which state that it was Judah ,who was crucified instead of Jesus of his own accord .
Some people might think that the already controversial question may bring to him salvation while many of the Quranic verses are resonate with fear , to those people we say why don't you read these two following verses from the Holy Quran ?!!
God says in the Holy Quran what means "Say: My slaves who have been prodigal to their own hurt! Despair not of the mercy of Allah, Who forgiveth all sins. Lo! He is the Forgiving, the Merciful. ( Al-Zmr :53)
God says in the Holy Quran what means " Those who avoid enormities of sin and abominations, save the unwilled offences (for them) lo! thy Lord is of vast mercy. He is best aware of you (from the time) when He created you from the earth, and when ye were hidden in the bellies of your mothers. Therefor ascribe not purity unto yourselves. He is best aware of him who wardeth off (evil). ( AL-Nagm :23)
Moreover , there is not any verse in the Bibles that talks about the deity of Jesus , nor the sonship or even the trinity but this divine sonship was just what Paul ,the Founder of Christianity , concluded from the rise of Jesus from among the dead.(Romans) , this doctrine was imposed after Paul in the synods .
So I don't accept the present Christianity because it is not logical and it is not revealed from God but rather a human made doctrine or a derived doctrine.
Why should I choose Islam ?
(1) The logic in its doctrine
In Islam , God is One , no one is equal to Him , His fine name is supreme and no one like Him , he doesn't beget , nor He is begotten , No one is equal to Him .All the religions claim that they are monotheistic religion but the truth they are not owing to the human tampering in them . Islam is the only pure religion of the pure monotheism .
The authenticity of the Holy Quran
It is the only Holy Book that remained for fourteen centuries without the least change , every letter , ever verse is as it was revealed first time . No one but prophet Mohummed dared to arrange its Suras .
It is a book that is so clear , a book that doesn't need what could be like the synods to decide which is sacred and genuine and which is not , neither do we need the science of scrutinizing holy texts .
The Quran is the book of logic and wisdom.
Unlike the other Holy books , the Holy Quran remained untouched by any human , so pure and genuine is the Holy Quran . A book which is resonate with wisdom , A book that you feel ecstasy when you read it.
It is the only Holy Book that deems Allah high while the other books do not ..... they say that God relax , wrestles the others and God sleeps (Deuteronomy:22:32& 2:2 ) .
The Holy Quran deems the prophets of God so high ,while the other holy books talk about heinous crimes committed by the prophet .
In Quran ,Lute is a generous prophet, who never disobeyed God while the other Holy books say that he made adultery with his two daughters .
In Quran ,Arone is a prophet, who never disobeyed God while the Torah says that he is a prophet who made for the Jews an idol made of gold and ordered them to worship it.
That is what the Holy Quran says about God and His prophets"Glorified be thy Lord, the Lord of Majesty, from that which they attribute (unto Him) ,And peace be unto those sent (to warn).And praise be to Allah, Lord of the Worlds! ( Al-Safat : 180-182) .
The revelation of the Holy Quran was really the birth of many facts that correct what the other made and inserted in their Holy Books.
Quran is the birth of the verdict of the innocence of all the prophets and angels whom the scripture weaved malign against them . It is the Holy Book which not only mentions the errors in the scripures but even corrects them and that is one the maning of quranic watching over other holy books .
4- The tolerance of the holy Quran
Unlike the other holy books , the Holy Quran is completely devoid of the war strategy found in the Holy Scriptures; the holy Scripture strategy of war is best explained in the chapter of Joshua (6:21) and the (Numbers:31:13-18) , where we read about the strategy of war which is summarized in eliminating men ,women , children and even animals , the strategy of war in Quran is best explained in the following verse :
God says in the Holy Quran what means " Those who, if We give them power in the land, establish worship and pay the poor due and enjoin kindness and forbid iniquity. And Allah's is the sequel of events." ( Al-Hajj:41)
5-The scientific miracles in the Holy Quran
The Holy Quran , in order to prove its divine source and the impossibility of the human tampering , contains a large number of verses that refers to scientific facts in all the different branches of science , we can read about the different mountains ,clouds , the embryology and the successive stages of the embryo , the creation of the universe , the dark sea and many other verses that are compatible with modern science . Prophet Mohummed was unlettered ,who lived in the desert and there were any channels of communicating with any knowledge in his age, which was in most of its scientifically wrong .
Compare this with what the Genesis says about the creation of the universe , many mendacious facts that runs counter with scientific modern findings are there in the Holy Scriptures . Human Tampering are responsible for these mistakes.
6-The miracle of the prophecies about the future.
Many prophecies concerning the future are mentioned in the Holy Quran , these prophecies came true in their fixed time ; the triumph of the Roman Empire over the Persian is an example , if just a simple mistake took place in these prophecies , the religion of Islam would have been left shaky .
Moreover , the Holy Quran mentions some details that were mentioned in the codices that have been found already , It is impossible that Mohummed copied from these books because of :
The number of these books was too many and the number of the one version was few .
These were written in different languages.
These belonged to different cults.
These were found in different places .
These were not found in one time ..
These books were considered Apocrypha.
Many of these books contained errors and the Quran verses were in conformity with those who are correct .
Prophet Mohammed was illiterate who could neither read nor write .
God says in the Holy Quran in this concern what means " Will they not then ponder on the Qur'an? If it had been from other than Allah they would have found therein much incongruity."( Al-Nasa:82)
7- The Glad tidings about the Quran and the prophet in the Holy scriptures:
There are many glad-tidings about :
The name of the prophet .
The place of the birth of Islam.
The moral features of the prophet of Islam .
The seal of the brotherhood .
The term "Islam".
8-The rhetoric miracle
God challenged the early Arab pagans to give one verse like the verses of the Holy Quran and though they were masters in the rhetoric of Arabic they failed , even their great poets could not , they testified to the mirculousness of the rhetoric style in the Holy Quran , The Holy Quran though includes all the Arabic figure of speech , it contains something which can not be categorized as figure of speech , something can not be described , this creates an atmosphere of sweetness and ecstasy in the same time , no tautology , no repetition , the choice of the word is significant though many equivalents may suit but the Quranic word has special significance , the wording of the sentences is special and full of meanings....many can be said and yet not fulfilling the greatness of this miracle .
Also , the sura in Quran was not arranged according to the time of revelation like Torah , though this was not scientifically accurate .
The Holy Quran was arranged according to subjects to the extent that you find a good harmony between the beginning of the Sura and the end of the same Sura .
The linguistic loftiness of the Quranic Language , the Holy Quran uses one third of the Arabic words (371 word roots) , every root occurs one time .
The spread of Islam
Islam is now is the fastest growing religion in the world and that what the minister of foreign affairs has stated in July 2007 , a report that made the president of US hold a meeting with mass media men who adopt antagonistic view against Islam to thwart Islam , what is really astonishing is that the more they attack Islam, the more people convert into it .
In 2006, the American foreign policy Magazine reports that Moslem will form (30%) of the French during the coming 20 years , as to England , the total number of the English pilgrims amounted to 30.000 in the last pilgrimage , most of these pilgrims were Young men .
The number of the English Moslems who are keen on performing their Islamic religion duties will increase by (10%) , if compared with their Christian counterpart in the church .
In Russia , the Moslems form about (15%) of the Russians and one fifth of the capital are Moslem , the Economist says that the number of Moslem will reach (50%) of Russia in the next 25 years .
In Holland the majority of the people will be Moslems (German magazine , Number 28-5-2005)
In Mexico , the number of Moslems is increasing fast between the Red Indians .
The Christian thinker , Kmal Fareid says Christianity will die out during the coming one hundred years because of t convert into Islam .
After the eleventh of September events , the number of the new Moslem have increased and after the Danish affront to the prophet of Islam , the number of the Holy Quran copies sales was increased by (38%) in France . All the attempts , be a apostasy or affront or the suicide of a priest ( a priest committed suicide protesting against the wide spread of Islam and the silence of the church towards that ) won't avail .
God says in the Holy Quran what means " And whomsoever it is Allah's will to guide, He expandeth his bosom unto the Surrender, and whomsoever it is His will to send astray, He maketh his bosom close and narrow as if he were engaged in sheer ascent. Thus Allah layeth ignominy upon those who believe not." AL-Anam :135)
